Matching Gifts
Some companies double or triple their employees’ contributions to non-profit organizations, and many include gifts from spouses. You should obtain the proper forms from your employer and forward them to LSA with your gift. Your gift will be tax-deductible, and the matching gift company will also be listed as a donor.
Stock Gifts
A gift of appreciated securities provides the donor with several benefits. The donor avoids capital gains tax on the increased value and receives a deduction for the full market value of the securities on the day of transfer to LSA. Gifts in Kind
Any item that does not carry a valid professional appraisal comes under the heading of Gifts in Kind. Donations of computers, office equipment, furniture and other valuable items are often important gifts, as they can benefit both LSA’s clients and the agency’s administrative team. Acceptance of these items is subject to usage and space constraints. Further information may be obtained by filling out this form.
Annual Benefit
LSA hosts a Spring Gala every year and the ongoing success of our benefit has resulted in ever-increasing support for our programs. Please contact our Development Office if you wish to receive an invitation, or are interested in donating a prize for our 2010 auction, by completing this form.
Planned Giving
There are several giving options from which you can choose: from simply naming LSA as a beneficiary in your will to an income-producing charitable gift annuity to an outright gift of stock. Further information may be obtained by completing this form.
