The Sharing Place

When The Sharing Place thrift store opened in 1997, no one could have imagined the tremendous success it has become—and that success would not be possible without the extraordinary generosity of our donors. Here’s how you can become part of this success story.

The Sharing Place depends on loyal donors who contribute clothing, housewares, toys, books, games, CDs and more. Dedicated donors make it possible to keep the store stocked with wonderful items that are affordably priced for community residents.

Please consider The Sharing Place when you are doing your spring cleaning or creating some space in your closets. And please encourage your friends – we know of many stories where residents in one apartment told their neighbors about The Sharing Place, and in almost no time, a half dozen other residents in the same building also started to donate to the store!

All contributions to The Sharing Place are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
